CITB Online Card Checker

The Online Card Checker can be found here: https://www.citb.co.uk/cardcheck.

Many delegates require a proof of pass immediately following their training course, however pass certificates are not issued immediately by accrediting bodies such as CITB.

CITB provide an Online Card Checker where an individual or employer can officially check that the delegate has passed their course.

CITB Site Safety Plus courses

This service can be used for anyone who has recently completed one of the CITB Site Safety Plus courses and the information it provides can then be used to book a Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test (also known as the CITB touch screen test).

CSCS / CPCS / CISRS

It can also be used by anyone who needs to check the validity of one of the following membership cards:

  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
  • Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS)
  • Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS)

Please note that you will need two items of information about the delegate to check their details, one of which must be their registration number or National Insurance number.

If you’re checking a card that you believe to be fake or fraudulent then you should report it to CITB immediately, using the email address listed on the card checker webpage.

Where is my certificate?

NB: We are unable to chase certificates within 6 weeks of your course completion date. Please wait until 6 weeks has passed before requesting your certificate.

Try using the CITB card checker.

Training FAQ's

GENERAL FAQ'S

:
Why do your prices differ for the same course?
The course content is the same, but the venue and dates are different. Where it is and when it is afects the cost of the venue hire. Also, if we are using a training partner, these have different rates too. What we can guarantee is that you cannot find the same course (at the same venue and the same date) for less. We have an agreement that our training partners cannot sell for less even if you book directly.
What is blended learning?
Blended learning is a mix of online tuition, maybe some Zoom (or similar) learning and classrom based sessions. Most often it is learning through some bookwork at home, before attending a venue. See our blog article Blended Learning for more information.
What is meant by the different course formats (Block, Day Release and Split)?
Block courses run consecutively with no gaps in between days. Day Release is where a course is split across several weeks (EG a 5 day course may be every Monday for 5 weeks). Split is wehere it is split into two or more blocks. This applies mainly to longer courses such as NEBOSH, where each week may start on different dates.
