It also looks at the reporting of injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences (RIDDOR), and proactive and reactive monitoring. Furthermore, learners will study how to manage and ensure safety in a diverse range of operational environments. For example, scaffolding, working at height and control of hazardous substances. In addition, all the principles of manual handling, PPE and first aid will be explored too. With this, there will be an overall emphasis on fostering and maintaining a positive health and safety culture within the entire workplace.
