Tetra Level 1-2 Safety System Training Course

This Tetra Level 1-2 Safety System training course is for those who are already trained in the safe use and inspection of portable leaning ladders for short duration access and require three points of contact with the ladder during accent and decent, as well as at the head of the ladder.

The course will provide each candidate with both the knowledge and practical experience to correctly use fall protection equipment when working at height using leaning ladders.

The course will consist of classroom based training in the form of a lecture and multimedia presentation as well as practical training. The course will conclude with both a written and practical assessment.

The Tetra Level 1-2 Safety Kit provides three points of contact from the ground to the head of the ladder and includes:

  • Level 1 Kit:
    • Full Body Harness - accredited to BS EN 361
    • Cowstail (short lanyard) - accredited to EN354:2012
    • Re-useable eyebolt - should exceed loads advised by the HSE
    • Ladder Securing Strap
    • Ladder Yoke
  • Additional Level 1-2 Kit
    • Rope Grab - accredited to EN353
    • Kernmantle Rope - accredited to EN1891
    • Rope Bag
    • Karabiners (auto locking) - accredited to EN362
