Providing a thorough introduction to the basics of occupational health and safety, the NEBOSH National General Certificate (NGC) will help to equip you with all the right skills to manage health and safety in the workplace.
Taking the course not only ensures legal compliance, but will also increase individual awareness of responsibilities leading to a reduction in costs associated with accidents and work related illness.
This course covers 3 NGC Units:
You will be required to sit two written exams, and submit a hand-written practical assessment.
Units NGC1 and NGC2 are taught units each assessed by one two-hour written examination, which will consist of 10 'short' questions and one question which requires a longer response.
Unit NGC3 is assessed by one two-hour practical examination. This is held on a date set by the course provider and must be taken within 14 days of a written examination.
The practical examination is internally assessed by the course provider and externally moderated by NEBOSH.
On successful completion of the course, you'll be awarded the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
