IPAF Harness Use and Inspection (H) Training Course

IPAF Harness Course Overview

The IPAF Harness Use and Inspection course is a half day course, providing a minimum of 4 hours instruction with an IPAF trainer. This course is suitable for anyone who operates MEWPs in the workplace and can be attended by anyone without any prior knowledge or qualifications.

You will learn how to correctly use full body safety harnesses and restraint lanyards when operating from mobile elevated work platforms, as well as how to select the correct fall protection system for the type of MEWP you are operating from.

If you are responsible for operating boom type MEWPs such as static mounted booms and mobile cherry pickers (i.e. 1b Static Booms and 3b Mobile Booms) then you should always utilise a full body harness with adjustable lanyard and this course will demonstrate the correct and safe use of these.
